Politician and businessman Mike Mbuvi Sonko never fails to intrigue in his numerous antics on social media. Just days after calling out former members of his staff that ditched him after his political woes while gifting his loyal aides with Christmas goodies, the former Nairobi Governor has now shared yet another video on his social media as he undergoes a fiery fire massage.
While interacting with his followers, Sonko claimed that the aim of the procedure was to reduce large amounts of cholesterol gained during the festivities. According to a professional massage therapist, this is an ancient technique that uses fire to relieve the muscle pain of his clients which involves placing several layers of towels and other isolating materials on the client's body. Then a towel soaked in alcohol is placed on top and set on fire. It burns for roughly more than a minute before the flames are put out with a wet towel. "The heat is meant to suck the moisture out of the body," said the pro therapist. However, noting the sensitivity of the technique, Sonko urged those interested in undergoing a similar procedure to seek well trained professionals to avoid accidentally burning vital organs especially bellow the belly." Asked if this was part of his new year resolutions, Sonko maintaned that he strives to lead a healthier lifestyle and get down to work.

PRESIDENT RUTO CLEARS CATHERINE KASAVULI'S 4M HOSPITAL BILL

 President William Ruto has waived the hospital bill incurred by the late veteran journalist Catherine Kasavuli, KBC anchor John Jacob has confirmed. In a tweet, Kioria expressed gratitude to the Head of State for helping offset the bill. "Great thanks to our President who has waived the hospital bill incurred by my colleague Catherine Kasavuli. May her soul continue to rest in peace," he wrote.  The family sought the help of well-wishers to offset an outstanding Ksh4 million bill accrued during Kasavuli's stay and treatment in the hospital. A requiem mass for the late journalist will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Friends International Church along Ngong Road in Nairobi. Kasavuli's remains will then be transported to Vihiga county where the final service will take place at her rural home at Tigoi Primary School on Saturday, January 14. The late journalist's burial will occur the same Saturday at her home in Zululu, Vihiga County after the funeral s
