Last dance for Lukman!                KULTURE LOUNGE, GALANA PLAZA 9th FLR 6:00 PM Celebrities, entrepreneurs and revellers will today hold a tribute night in honor of popular city club Kulture lounge, formerly Kiza lounge, on Galana plaza, to celebrate the life of one of its founders Mr Lukman Akanbi. Lukman passed on Jan 12th 2023 after a long battle with polycystic disease. Kulture's owner Ali Oumarou said it was only fit for the club to celebrate his life in style just like he lived his life. "Besides being a great husband, father, uncle, mentor and business magnate, he was a people's person and we had to grant his close friends their wish." An accomplished business coach, he mingled with local personalities and had a key role in the success of the Kiza franchise in Kenya, Dubai and Toronto. THE TWO FACTIONS MET AND AGREED AMICABLY                                    KAMP's CEO CS Maurice Okoth and chairperson Angela Ndambuki Days after declaring a stalemate with the Kenya Copyright Board, KECOBO, the Kenya Association of Music Producers, KAMP, seem to have finally reached a clincher. This is according to a statement by the collective management body in which they affirmed having received the license and had reached a resolve to their issue amicably. 'KAMP is pleased to announce to our members and the public that we have officially received our collective management operating license for 2023 from the Kenya Copyright Board, KECOBO,' the statement read.  Earlier in the week, KAMP's Chairperson Angela Ndambuki had issued a statement highlighting the reason behind the impasse.
