Kentwood address celebrate second anniversary as viral Tom Mboya's signage causes a stir during event


Kentwood Address, The popular boutique hotel in Runda, off Kiambu road recently celebrated their second anniversary since it opened it's doors. The exquisite lounge threw a red carpet, bow tie themed V.I.P party that was attended by the who's is who in the business and showbiz world. However, what caught the attention of most revellers, was the creative inclusion of dummy street signages including Kentwood's, that the guest's posed in pictures with during the event.

The signages were similar to the ones that went viral on social media during the Azimio la Umoja street demonstrations that showed n unidentified man making away with the actual Tom Mboya street sign. Though sleuth's are hot on his heels following the call for his arrest by Nairobi's Governor Johnson Sakaja, Kentwood's creativity got the best of netizens who couldn't hide sharing their amusement while they lauded the creative effort. "This is very creative. Hmm I wish mngeweka pia ya Koinange street," read one of the comments.

PRESIDENT RUTO CLEARS CATHERINE KASAVULI'S 4M HOSPITAL BILL

 President William Ruto has waived the hospital bill incurred by the late veteran journalist Catherine Kasavuli, KBC anchor John Jacob has confirmed. In a tweet, Kioria expressed gratitude to the Head of State for helping offset the bill. "Great thanks to our President who has waived the hospital bill incurred by my colleague Catherine Kasavuli. May her soul continue to rest in peace," he wrote.  The family sought the help of well-wishers to offset an outstanding Ksh4 million bill accrued during Kasavuli's stay and treatment in the hospital. A requiem mass for the late journalist will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Friends International Church along Ngong Road in Nairobi. Kasavuli's remains will then be transported to Vihiga county where the final service will take place at her rural home at Tigoi Primary School on Saturday, January 14.
