FORMER EDUCATION CS PROF. GEORGE MAGOHA AND BROTHER DIE DAYS APART




Immediate Education CS Prof George Magoha is dead. The one-time outspoken state officer succumbed to heart-related complications on the evening of Tuesday, January 24. The 71-year-old breathed his last at the Nairobi Hospital where he had been undergoing treatment. He is survived by his wife Dr Barbara Magoha and son Dr Mike Magoha. Meanwhile, the extended family is also mourning the death of his other sibling

PRESIDENT RUTO CLEARS CATHERINE KASAVULI'S 4M HOSPITAL BILL

 President William Ruto has waived the hospital bill incurred by the late veteran journalist Catherine Kasavuli, KBC anchor John Jacob has confirmed. In a tweet, Kioria expressed gratitude to the Head of State for helping offset the bill. "Great thanks to our President who has waived the hospital bill incurred by my colleague Catherine Kasavuli. May her soul continue to rest in peace," he wrote.  The family sought the help of well-wishers to offset an outstanding Ksh4 million bill accrued during Kasavuli's stay and treatment in the hospital. A requiem mass for the late journalist will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Friends International Church along Ngong Road in Nairobi.
