"I"ll love you forever," - Sonko celebrates adopted kids as he pens beautiful message to Gift and Satrin Osinya.

Flamboyant businessman Mike Sonko has taken to social media to celebrate the lives of 2 of his adopted sons who were celebrating their birthday's just days apart. " We recently celebrated his bro Gift Osinya's birthday. Again today 9 years ago a sweet, charming and joyous baby made his way into our family and got us hooked totally. What a blessing you are to us, baby Satrin Osinya. I am glad you came into our home, now everything seems perfect," he wrote while sharing his pictures on his social media.  Baby Satrin osinya became part of Sonko's family back in 2014 after a deadly Terrorist attack happened at a church in Likoni leaving a bullet lodged in his head. Pictures of his elder brother clutching him in an embrace while drenched in blood went viral. He was flown to Nairobi for surgery and the bullet got removed from his head successfully.  Unfortunately, his mother succumbed as a result of the injuries. CS Kithika Kindiki - Government committed to decongesting prison facilities.

Koko Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithika Kindiki has said that the Government is working towards upgrading and improving the living standards of correctional services through a raft of reforms aimed at improving the living conditions of inmates. CS Kindiki made the announcement when he visited Mwea prison in Kirinyaga county on Monday to check the status of the correctional facility. He further stated that the Government will provide equipment worth Ksh.1 billion in the next few months to help prison industries  to mechanise all prison farms countywide that have arable land and equip them with new equipment to modernize their operations and increase their productivity to assist in the country's food security plans. Prison departments boasts of 86 prison farms with a total of over 18,200 acres of land. Sonko raises caution over his impersonators who are scamming Kenyans on Social media.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has cautioned Kenyans to be wary of scammers posing to offer jobs and big returns using fake accounts under his name. In a video recording, Sonko took to his social media page to caution his followers that he had received information that  impersonators on social media were offering ‘fake’ giveaways to unsuspecting victims before fleecing their money. The flamboyant politician maintains he has modest social media accounts with millions of followers on all platforms combined where he doesn't solicit for funds claiming that lately he has been dealing with a slew of fake accounts swindling unsuspecting victims. “Please be on the lookout. Decongestion program of Correctional services is critical in safeguarding better livelihoods for inmates - CS Mary Muthoni.

Koko The State Department for Correctional Services has made a major milestone in the ongoing prison decongestion program by releasing up to 7,281 petty offenders by March 2023.  In an update on the status of correctional facilities in the country, the Principal Secretary in the department Mary Muthoni, acknowledged that the congestion in most prisons in the country poses safety and security challenges for both prison authorities and inmates further indicating that the freed inmates are engaging in community service nationwide. According to the PS, over 250 probationers and inmates have received adequate facilitation in educational support from the program with the state department helping them obtain their grade test certification. KAMP gets annual license extension to collect and distribute royalties for music producers..

  KAMP CEO Maurice Mwande Okoth, chairperson Faith Kithele and vice-chairperson Anthony Musembi. The Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) has acquired the operational licence allowing the body to collect and distribute royalties on behalf of music producers. The license extension was awarded on 4th of May by the Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO) which will allow KAMP to collect and distribute royalties on behalf of music producers in the country for a period of one year. This is an extension from their previous license which ran for a shorter duration between January 2023 and expired in April. The issuance of the operation license followed the completion of a forensic audit into royalty distribution and meeting all the set requirements by the board as had been recommended by Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba.
